if you’re serious, find a local accountant who has been in business for at least 6-7yrs. and who specializes in handling accounting and consulting for smaller, local, companies. Ask a few local business owners in the trade industry for their referrals for the accountant. you are going to need a lot of cash. insurance will be murderous. land a few accounts before you start and he should also be doing a few “odd jobs” prior with people who would be willing to accept a low charge in return for them then providing a good reference to future customers who may want to call and do a reference check on the work he can do. good luck.
